We are implementing a nursery optimisation programme, the aim of which is to modernise nurseries and implement their centralised management. We plan that the nursery modernisation project will be completed in 2025 and more than twice as many trees will be grown per hectare. It is estimated that we will be able to grow as many as 90 million trees instead of 50 million a year in nurseries.
Currently, there are already two modern nurseries in Lithuania, which are equipped with automated containers, when the seeds are sown not in open soil, but in special containers adapted for that purpose.
This technological solution allows to grow 3 seedlings in one season, reduces seed yield up to 6 times, as well as seedlings with a containerised root system have better tree uptake.
The nursery also uses the latest and only waxing technology in Lithuania, which allows to protect seedlings from pests.
We sell seedlings, grown in our nurseries, to legal and natural persons for reforestation or planting. If you wish to purchase high-quality pine, spruce, oak, birch, black alder and tilia seedlings, we invite you to contact the nursery of the nearest regional unit. Be sure to check the remaining seedlings for sale at the selected nursery.
We encourage you to enter into preliminary agreements with the nurseries for the cultivation of the desired seedlings – this way you will be guaranteed that the nursery will grow the required amount of seedlings at the right time.
