Protection of personal data
To ensure the protection of personal data processed within the Lithuanian State Forest Enterprise against loss, disclosure, destruction, the Lithuanian State Forest Enterprise devotes significant attention to ensuring the security of personal data and to implementing appropriate organizational and technical data security measures.
If you have any questions regarding the processing of personal data by the State Forest Enterprise and exercising your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as GDPR), please contact the data protection officer in writing, by email, or by phone.

The functions of the Data Protection Officer are defined in accordance with Article 39(1) of the GDPR as follows:
- Informs and advises the Lithuanian State Forest Enterprise and employees who carry out processing of their obligations pursuant to this GDPR and to other European Union or Republic of Lithuania legal acts regulating the processing of personal data and privacy protection.
- Monitors compliance with the GDPR, with other European Union or Republic of Lithuania legal acts regulating the processing of personal data and privacy protection, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness raising of employees involved in personal data processing operations, and other related tasks.
- Upon request, provides advice regarding the data protection impact assessment and monitors its performance in accordance with Article 35 of the GDPR.
- cooperates with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
- Provides information to data subjects regarding the processing of their personal data by the Lithuanian State Forest Enterprise and handles their requests.
